Results Wire: US FDA Advisory Committee Hears Updates About Research at CBER – FEB 16, 2016 (CTGTAC)
On Tuesday, February 16, 2016, the Cellular, Tissue and Gene Therapies Advisory Committee (CTGTAC) heard updates of research programs in the Tumor Vaccines and Biotechnology Branch (TVBB) and the Cellular and Tissue Therapies Branch (CTTB) of the Division of Cellular and Gene Therapies, in the Office of Cellular, Tissue and Gene Therapy (OCTGT) at the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER). After the updates, the meeting was closed to the public in order “to permit discussion where disclosure would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy (5 U.S.C. 552b(c)(6)).” In particular, the Committee as to discuss a report of the intramural research programs and make recommendations regarding personnel staffing decisions.
