Results Wire: US FDA Advisory Committee Discusses Methods of Communicating the Importance of Eating Fish While Also Communicating Mercury Risk – NOV 3-4, 2014 (RCAC)

On Monday and Tuesday, November 3-4, 2014, the Risk Communication Advisory Committee (RCAC) discussed methods for effective risk communication about the importance of eating adequate amounts of fish, while avoiding certain fish with higher amounts of methyl-mercury. The FDA says these messages are especially important for women who are pregnant or nursing, or for anyone who prepares food for young children.
